Schedule of the tour
DAY 1: Catania – Ragusa
Arrival at Catania Airport and pick up of the car. Transfer to Ragusa. Overnight.
DAY 2: Ragusa – Donnalucata – Ragusa
Breakfast at the hotel. During the morning, tour of Ragusa down town, that it is well known for its baroque buildings and facades, such us San Giorgio Cathedral. During the afternoon, tour of Donnalucata Castle. Back to the hotel. Overnight.
DAY 3: Ragusa – Modica – Ragusa
Breakfast at the hotel. Leaving for Modica, Heritage of UNESCO. Arriving in Modica and tour of the town. In Modica people produce a delicious chocolate, we will visit a place where they make it, to learn about it and in the end we realize our own chocolate by using our favourite ingredients. (Try chocolate with hot chili pepper, it will be a surprise!). Back to Ragusa. Overnight.
DAY 4: Ragusa – Scicli – Ragusa
Breakfast at the hotel. Leaving for Scicli. Arriving and tour of the town that it is a UNESCO Heritage too. Back to Ragusa. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight.
DAY 5: Ragusa – Catania
Breakfast at the hotel and leaving for Catania Airport. End of our services.
The tour includes:
– 4 nights in agriturismo/hotel in Ragusa area (Agriturismo Torre Dantona Country Resort or similar) in standard rooms (overnights and breakfast included)
– Workshop and tasting of chocolate in Modica
– 1 dinner in a restaurant in Ragusa – 3 courses (beverages not included)
